Why should you get to know greenpastures?
I need a friend first and foremost, I havent been in love for so long I dont really remember what its like.I'm a part time farmer/ gardener, I have an idyllic little acreage in a secluded valley with river frontage surrounded by hills, perfect privacy no neighbours for miles,a place that just feels right,a paradise i'd like to share.I love nature and the peace and quiet.I live in a shack,temporarily,but i've got used to it,actually I love it.The last few years circumstance beyond my control has made it necessary for me to make do and tough it out,droughts and low income are my reality,however, I believe I have done the hard yards, and lifes short. I couldnt see myself happy doing anything else, I think its magic. Physically i'm reasonably fit, knocked about weathered from my work and life.If their were someone else who wore a similar pair of rose coloured glasses, shared a similar dream,i'm sure we would make a formidable partnership.
I was very social when I was younger but always had a contrary independent streak probably goes with the red hair.Anyway, I was always on the look out for the right one so to speak, but, had the happy knack of picking the wrong one or unobtainable ones.As the years passed I found I preferred my own company and the unconditional love of my dogs,I got pretty set in my ways, it became easier to be alone than forever searching and envying other peoples relationships.
I'm not crying in my beer, I have had a great time ,many wonderous fullfilling experiences and I look forward to each day, i'm fascinated with life and all it holds,I enjoy people socialising all the normal things, this is just a ruthless description of what I have done with my personal life...I am turning 50 this year,never been married, no kids and no prospects, just this nagging sense of..well I think I blew it ..I had a great time, done alot of different things, wasted opportunities,made poor choices,some how, i'm trying to salvage my remaining years by opening up sharing and taking a chance.
